Celebration of Life

“Life should not only be lived, it should be celebrated.”

O S H O

For those who knew James, they’d first remember that “everyone liked him” — which was amply evident at his “Celebration of Life” party. James will be remembered by many for his writing, perfectionism as an editor, sharp wit, and a deep intellect. Equally, as a good friend with a dry sense of humour — and someone who always had something important to say about any topic. Rather than refer to the internet, many of us just said, “ask James.”
James was enthusiastic about all his favorite things, and good at most of them. He especially loved to travel to Europe, particularly Italy. He was a gourmet chef, bridge player, gardener, avid reader, and, life of the party. He was particularly active in social causes, and especially wildlife and nature preservation. He will be missed by many family and friends.
